Shipping Policy

Shipping times, delivery estimates, and carrier performance are not guaranteed. Once an order leaves our hands and is transferred to the shipping carrier, Cynthia Jean Brown Literary, LLC is not responsible for delays, lost packages, carrier errors, or delivery issues outside our control.

 

We will always do our best to assist you, but shipping carriers determine transit times and outcomes.

Shipping Policy - the basics

Order Processing

  • Orders are processed within 3–5 business days.

  • Processing time may be extended during restocks, pre-orders, sales, holidays, or book-signing periods.

  • Signed copies may require 3–7 additional days for preparation.

 

Shipping Methods

 

  • Standard U.S. shipping typically takes 5–10 business days after processing.

  • Expedited shipping (if available) will display faster estimated times at checkout.

  • International shipping times vary by country and customs requirements.​

 

Shipment Tracking

​

  • A tracking number will be emailed once your order has shipped.

  • Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking to update in the carrier’s system.

Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages

 

  • If tracking shows “delivered”, we cannot replace stolen packages. Please check with neighbors or your local post office.

  • If tracking is stuck or does not update for 7+ days, contact us and we will help file a claim with the carrier.

  • Replacement shipments for carrier-confirmed lost packages will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

​

  • If your books or merchandise arrive damaged or incorrect, email a photo within 48 hours of delivery.

  • We will replace damaged or incorrect items at no additional cost.

Pre-Orders

​

  • Pre-order items ship on or around the release date listed on the product page.

  • Orders containing both pre-order and in-stock items may ship together.

International Orders

​

  • International customers are responsible for all customs fees, taxes, or import duties.

  • Shipping times can vary significantly depending on customs processing.

Address Accuracy

 

  • Customers are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address at checkout.

  • Orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer cannot be refunded or replaced.
